Rachel did something freaky yet funny last night! So while i was minding my own business watching home alone 2 in bed while rach slept on the next bed, then suddenly her hand pointed straight into the air into the shape of the seven sign...AND THEN SHE TURNED AROUND TO SMILE AT ME AND DID THAT ACT COOL THING USING THE SEVEN SIGN. AND SHE WAS STILL SLEEPING!!!! I got stunned for awhile... i mean cmon who DOES that man...then i laughed to myself before resuming back my movie. Haha i have sucha retarded roomie. But who am i to say man haha. Rachel has found out my deepest darkest secret... i talk while i sleep! So everyone knows now..i guess?

Anyway this day was 20% productive 80% unproductive(keep watching movies gah)Jonathan was cool enough to extend the deadlines till monday, it was supposed to be tmr haha oh well. 3 more days and i'm still miserably trying to draw a plan T_T

So after a few weeks or so here, i figured out that i should talk about my daily routine here, oui?

The day starts off with us waking up around 8 for our 9am lessons (though i get awaken by the sun which rises at 430am, is that insane or what). Some of us head outside school to buy breakfast, usually honey buns or sandwiches.

Then! We head back to school and jonathan proceeds to teach us all the nifty tricks and stuff bout viz and all that.

And its...tutorial time! Technically we're working like crazy on our project now. Sighs. Consulting with jonathan about our construction trusses:/

Lunchtime, sometimes we tabao back to our hostel or we go out in a big group and decide where to eat.

2pm. Back to tutorial until 6pm. Then its dinner, same thing as lunch, then we slack for abit in our hostels before going back to bed around 11pm.

I know, mundane right... And it happens every weekday.

The dogs here are sooo adorable! <3All of them seem to have really short legs with a long body though.. Guess i'll update the pictures when i'm back in spore or something.
So far, we named one of the dogs after weechai, xiao cai! who we thought was dying soon.. in the end he turned out to be a few months old. Oh, and his real name is xiao lao tou-.- Figures. Lol.

The puppies here are damn cheap too! Saw this lady selling puppies on the street so curiously i asked her how much were they... Ohmygoodness they were only 6 sing each?!! The prices are to the point of the ridiculous.. i mean cmon, puppies in spore are sold for at a min of a few hundred, and here puppies are just like a bag of potatoes or something. Sheesh. If only i could grab one home with me:/

Our friday's visit was a trip down to an advertising agency, showflat area and a graphic design agency. We weren't so chuffed about it cause project was all we had on our soggy minds. But oh well. The first place we went had a subway place next to it. I guess lots of people were missing home cause most of our people swarmed in and ordered a whole lot of cookies and sandwiches(?). And half the prices of spore's too, haha. The poor tour guide was asking us to hurry up, saw her checking her watch like every 5 minutes lol.

So eventually we went up to the place and all of us design students, lecturers and tour guides got squashed inside this ridiculously small room where the one of the advert people were showing their work through powerpoint. Apart from the fact that we had to stand up throughout the whole ppt (there weren't enough seats) it was pretty interesting cause they were showing us their works. I liked a few of them, too bad that i can't post up pictures here..

Then after exploring the place abit, it was up the bus we went and we drove to this totally gorgeous residential area, very westernized, damn cheap somemore (400,000? or 20000?) I wished i could live there...

After that it was lunch at some chinese restaurant.. for some reason most of the dishes were pork, mushrooms, more mushrooms and FISH.Roars.

The last place we headed to was finally the ascendas park place aka graphic design agency- the person showing us around was kinda cute:p heh French guy haha anyway to get to the point the agency looked real interesting too. They had like 3000 applicants for the company in dalian alone?! Like oh my goodness please and all they had altogether were like 10-15 people working there! Madness.

Its been a long long time since i've blogged.. what with the internet being down and all:/ Which sucks, technically. Newaes, its been pretty much a bummer around here, what with us chionging like hell for project and all once we realised, too late, that the dreaded submission is NEXT FRIDAY. Gah.

I forsee a future of instant noodles, and hours of staring at the computer and trying to figure the heck out the construction details. Le sighs.

Blogger's been a bitch, i can't post pictures! :((( So bear with me people, its going to be long and wordy post.

So! For our usual every friday trip out, our lecturers decided to be awesome and they brought us to dalian's version of disneyland- or discovery land, as they call it. Oh my goodness the rides were super fun can! 10 times more fun than genting's and thats something. Mostly their rides were 360 rides, the first one i got on was damn freaky cause when they turned upside down, my butt was lifted out of the air and i felt airborne! That was a horrible experience.For that moment i was thinking, "OMG my seatbelt's damn loose, i'm going to fall off i'm going to DIEEEE" But it turned out that that was supposed to happen anyway. Gah. Space shot was TERRIFYING, NEVER AGAIN WILL I RIDE ON IT I WAS ALMOST IN TEARS PLS OMG IT WAS SO HIGH I ALMOST WANTED TO PASS OUT. Apart from that, the roller coaster rides were fun though;D

Oh well i cant really blog much without any pictures to explain anything!! Daamn you blogger. i guess thats about it then.

The 19th birthday which was spent in dalian. Haha pretty awesome, thanks you guys for the surprises and everything! :D

Was already asleep around 12am on 13 may when suddenly they was some DAMN LOUD banging on the door so i woke up from some random dream about a blue bird. Ezann mel hj weechai lopez burst in and wished me happy birthday! Initially they wanted a beer party but in the end they were too tired haha. And before lessons started they surprised me with a birthday cake! Rachel was SUCH A BAD LIAR CAN HAHA. I could so tell that she was pretending when she told me that she was going out to the toilet to do something etc etc. Oh well. But at least i still played along with you HAHA. :D They got me this huge peach cake. And they gave me a cute/retarded totoro bag AND they made me wear a stupid crown for the rest of the day. Gah hahaha but i still love you guys!

Oh and my china buddy lushuang is a SAINT. She rmred my birthday and gave me this teddy bear! And a lantern! Apparently you're supposed to make a wish, light it up and it'll float up to the sky! So cool please! But we couldn't do it that night cause it was too windy to do it:/ But oh my goodness she is so nicee hahaha.

Today was pretty much awesome, all of us girls and the guys went to shen li for shopping mania. The only thing that i'm grieving about right now would probably be the very large hole in my pocket- including the extra 100 bucks i had to borrow from mingfu simply cause i didnt bring enough:( Rarghs. Well, maybe next time... i hope? :}

So far i bought - a black blazer 3 tops 1 shirt 2 necklaces 2 lanyards and other nonsense stuff.. not much but the stuff there isn't as cheap as i thought. Think far east plaza. Oh! And i bought something for my soon to be baby bro! He's going to be such a cute chubby watermelon:D

Anyhoo i'll update again some other time, i'm dead beat. Ciao biatches.

ps: I saw a totally effing hot butch even rachel the straightest of the straight was gushing about her. Soooo handsome. Sighs i wish i had the guts to walk right up to her (she works at some shop) and....take a picture of her. Like duh! What else could i have done? If only yoshi was here to see her. I bet she'll just die. ha ha ha.

3rd week has arrived. Shuhua said that my face looks round! Noooooooooo :(

Anyway rachel found out that a spider formed a web in my sock?!!!! HAHAHAH like what the heck right.

I'm feeling damn light headed now cause i JUST drank 2 shots of beer HAHA shitt i realise that i'm super lousy when it comes to alcohol.. Oh well nvm practice makes perfect right?? The alcohol here is super cheap hoooyea :D Shall elaborate 'bout that a wee bit later aye?

Anywayy today was sightseeing day! (every friday's a sightseeing day btw) Rachel mel hj and i went off to eat the chinese version of roti prata with chili and pork floss at a shop outside school, before chasing after the bus cause we were one of the late ones:/

So... the first place we went to was the seaaaaa omg the journey was damn long i was falling asleep the whole way while looking out at the occasional mountain and sakura flowers.. almost 2 hours of stoning away.


The sea was damn cold and all of us were freezing our asses off. Took lots of pictures but as usual most of them are in my friend's cam. Because there was nothing much to do there, some of us decided to rent some bicycles!! And being adventurous, mel rachel and i tried out the three seater for 7 sing altogether. ZOMG that was seriously the most funniest moment when we were frantically attempting to balance out the bicycle and we broke one of the pedals when we were halfway through! LOL. And jonathan our lecturer( who was riding a mini bicycle) helped us whenever our chains came off due to us falling off the bike often. HAHA. Oh gosh rachel was laughing behind me for 5 full minutes.. i wished someone took a vid of us.
